I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas.

I want to encourage everyone, if they are not doing so already, to begin 2025 with daily Scripture reading. Given the events that took place very early in this new year, it is important that we feed our souls with the Word of God. I am impressed that there are at least three Bible study groups occurring at the Denton Church. Whether you can attend one of these Bible studies or not, you can find good Bible study resources at The Foundry Publishing Company: https://www.thefoundrypublishing.com/. Also, if you do a web search on Wesleyan Commentaries you will be able to find more resources.

Also, there are several available guides in reading the whole Bible in a year. Some of these are:

In my experience, I have found that the quality of reading the Bible is more important than quantity. Please take time to mediate, pray over, and listen for the message God is giving you through the Scriptures.
