A Message from Pastor George Fry

Last Updated 4/22/2026

Greetings in the name of God our Father and our Lord, Jesus Christ. I hope that everyone had a blessed Christmas as we have celebrated the first advent of Christ. By this time, folks are thinking about taking down the decorations and turning off the lights.

However, there is one Light that needs to remain, the Light of Christ. We are blessed by the fact that Light has entered the world. Christ, our light, not only brought light into the world, but He also called us into His light.

Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 2:9;

9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; (KJV).

We’re chosen, a royal priest, and holy. And that makes us peculiar (I know, some of you are thinking that there are some folks more peculiar than others). What makes us peculiar is that we are living in the light. That light is Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We should stand out from the crowd because of the outstanding presence of Christ in our lives.

Jesus told us in Matthew 5:16;

16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (KJV).

Let us not put away the light of Christmas until the next Advent season. Please let the Christmas light shine always.

Grace and Glory,

Pastor George

Remember, read your Bibles and pray.
